Consultation @ Eastcheap Treatment @ Bluewater I dont think anyone could be more apprehensive than I was about having laser eye surgery done. As soon as I came out my eyes were so watery i couldnt see for about 10 mins until the sourgeon put some drops in my eyes and then for about 10 mins I could see the results. I had a kip for about 4-5 hours and when I awoke I could see......though had to turn the lights out in the house- like a vampire or a gremlin. But all in all, the next morning, after a good nights sleep wearing my googles which are real passion killers, I can see perfectly today without any problems. DO IT!!! Its so worth it and I hope this puts to rest all your fears if you are thinking about LASIK/LASEK, I had the one with the 'flaps' whatever its called.

Excellent!! I had LASIK surgery in Glasgow Optical Express on 22/2/06 staff have been professional and thoughtful throughout. Surgery was painless, and apart from some minor discomfort on the evening after, it was no problem, i was driving the next morning and have suffered with no after effects!! I would definitley recommend Optical Express!!

The result has been better than expectation, I am delighted and the overall experience has been superb. I highly recommend the procedure to anyone. PS, After foolishly poking myself in the eye I had surgery on I had blurred vision and was very worried I had done some lasting damage. At short notice I was seen and had my eye checked. Luckily all I had done was scratched the front of the eye which quickly repaired itself and was fine the next day. I was very pleased at how the staff and particulary Susie fitted me into a busy morning, checked my eye and reassured me. The staff are very good in Inverness.

Had surgery in Glasgow, wasn't abit nervous. Everyone in Glasgow was friendly and helpfull. I had the wavefront surgery, which is the best option for me with my eyes. It is great not to have to wear glasses or lenses anymore. I would recommend this treatment to anyone thinking about it. Hi, had surgery 7th April and the day after vision was superb! 1 week on I'd gone from -4.5 to slightly longsighted but was assured this was reasonably normal in healing. 1 month later was -0.5 shortsighted with an astigmatism, all sight is slightly blurred and at my next month visit I will be considered for another op. I'm a bit disappointed but the freedom from contacts and glasses is fantastic - now I know what to expect from the op I won't be as worried about going through it although I will make sure I'm not working on my PC for 9 hours a day 2 days later (give your eyes a rest). I really think a proper pricing structure should be advertised, us contact lens wearers know our prescription and the industry needs to be more open about what it's really going to cost. Still overall I am pleased I had it done and have had no real complications so GO FOR IT!

Unbelievable! What a miracle Optical Express and Dr Boytha did for me! The staff at Connswater were all excellent during the consultation and throughout the surgery.
