Excellent briefing before the surgery, going into details of different procedures. I would recommend speaking with Dimitri before surgery if you have any queries before the treatment day or at least be prepared for an in depth chat on the day. My treatment very well and my vision is better than 20/20 even if I went for the standard lasik treament with mechanical flap creation. I am relieved these are the results I obtained as the treatment was considerably cheaper.. Also, treament was pretty much painless and I drove to appointment the next day. This is just the way it was for me, Im sure there is nothing to worry about if it takes just a little longer for vision to stabalise. (I was short sighted -5.25 and -6.75)

Mr Kazakos was very comforting & reassuring prior to me going in for the surgery. He advised the details of the surgery & what discomfort I may feel whilst undergoing the surgery. Once in surgery Mr Kazakos clearly explained what he was doing step by step, which made me feel relaxed. As soon as it was over (which was within 10 mins) I could see the difference straight away.I did not feel any pain during or after the surgery apart from a little discomfort for the first couple of hours. I did not feel I needed to relax when I went home, though I did as advised. The next day I was up & about as usual. I would recommend this surgery to anyone. Life is so much easier now not having to rely on glasses or contacts.Thank you Mr Kazakos.

Really impressed. Surgery went smooth, and the aftercare was brilliant. Had my 1 day and 1 week appointments at the White-City branch with the same Optometrist Pete who was very thorough as he guided me through all the do’s and dont’s. The actual surgery is only 30 seconds per eye, and the first day was painful. But after a good night sleep I woke the next morning with my eyesight better then 20/20. My eyes were set we’re for the first two weeks, but this went away gradually after about a month. Would highly reccomend.

I specifically chose Dimitri to perform my Lasik (with Intralase and Wavefront), despite having to travel 240 miles each way, after researching and hearing so many positive things about him. Only my left eye required treating – my right eye was already perfect. My left eye had astigmatism.I had the consultation in my home town, and am having the post-op care here, but traveled to Bluewater in Kent, down from Yorkshire, for the procedure itself.I must say it was absolutely worth the long trip. Dimitri was excellent, honest, very re-assuring, and his confidence in himself translated into me being very relaxed and confident. We had a chat before the procedure where he explained what I should expect, and so forth. He explained that my sight will be a little blurry straight after the procedure but should start returning about 20 minutes after the procedure, and I’d be at 90-95% of what my glasses were by the time I wake up the next morning, and would gradually improve due to the healing process. He explained that due to my slightly complex prescription I’d have about a 97% chance of being zero-prescription once the healing has finished, and in the event of the 3% may require an enhancement down the line.He talked me through the procedure itself, and I must have only been in the treatment room for 5 minutes from start to finish. He talked me through the intralase, saying “only 10 more seconds to go, you’re doing absolutely fantastic, the procedure is going really really well”. Absolutely reassuring and made me feel extremely relaxed. Then once the intralase had finished, he told me “we’re half way through the entire procedure already” and I thought wow – to be honest I couldn’t even ‘feel’ we’d started!Then had the wavefront measurements, then the procedure itself, both absolutely painless and took a matter of seconds each. Then Dimitri put the flap back in place and sat me up, and then examined my eye afterwards, and everything looked great.We traveled home, I rested with my eyes closed in the car on the journey home. When I got home I had a quick look in the mirror and my eyes never even had any red patches, could barely tell I’d had anything done. The next day (only 21 hours after the procedure) had my 1-day checkup back in my home town. Her exact words were “I must say I’m impressed, he’s done a really neat job”. I could just about read the line below the 20/20 line (6/5 or 20/16ish) already, less than 24 hours on.As I’m typing this, a week and 1 day since the procedure. I’ve just this morning had my weekly checkup, and everything is looking great. The line below the 20/20 line (6/5) is now clearer than last weekend and looks pretty pin-sharp. They told me there is now no sign of my astigmatism whatsoever.I must say the pre and post care has been excellent, and Dimitri has done a fantastic job for me. I can’t rate him highly enough.
