Testimonials
I had eye surgery to both eyes at Cobot Circus bristol in October 2009.The professionalism and care recieved by this surgeon and his team have been first class…I can fully recommend them highly. At all times I was treated with the upmost dignity and respect, my privacy respected and felt very reasurred and comfortable during the procedure, all questions and queries honestly adressed. I searched the ‘net’ to see when glasses were first used…it was in the 13 century!!! I am absolutely delighted to be free from 13 century advances and part of 21 century technology….it is wonderful.
Having had a -5 prescription most of my adult life, its amazing not to be having to think about contact lenses and glasses, whilst swimming, playing sport or flying our aircraft. My vison was better straight after surgery, thanks to Dimitri Kazakos. He is a most charming and professional surgeon, and ensured I understood all aspects of the surgical procedure. As so many people say ” I wish I had had laser eye surgery years ago”
Excellent surgeon. I recently went back for a small ‘tweak’ after the first procedure left my right eye a little blurred (left eye was perfect). It was relatively painless (pain and ‘fog’ gone in 7 hours) and vision is now perfect. I had really bad eyesight since the age of 12, and to be able to see again without the use of contact lenses or glasses was like a miracle.
I had lasik surgery on both eyes on 11/11/09. Mr Kazakos was very re-assuring during the procedure where he outlined clearly what he was about to do during each part of the extremely short procedure. Visual results are excellent and to date i have had no post op difficulties of any sort.
I had the Intralase Lasik Wavefront on both eyes at the Birmingham Optical Express on Friday 13th November. (Yes, Friday 13th!!!). However, there was absolutely nothing to worry about. From the moment I entered the clinic until I left, I felt thoroughly comfortable, although suitably nervous. You first get called for a pre-op check to verify that everything’s OK to proceed, then you get called in for the procedure. After putting on the cloth cap and ear flaps, you lie back with the optional stress balls. Dimitri then appears above your head, and calmly explains what he is about to do at every step. At no point during the surgery did anything hurt, there was only the slight uncomfortable feeling of something happening to your eyes. Dimitri moves your head about, tells you where to look and relax, and before you know it, the procedure is over. You are then taken into the post-op room to get your bearings back, and are told about the eye drop regime. Immediately, I could already see a lot better, even through the cloudy haze. After a final check, you are then free to leave. I suffered a bit from stinging eyes after about half an hour, but kept my eyes mostly shut on the journey home. Once home, I had a bit of a snooze with the very fetching goggles, and felt better after that. A day later, and I can see, with only minimal halos around lights. I had the one day sight test this morning, and could almost read the bottom line (16/20 vision). From a pre-procedure prescription of between -2.75 and -3.00 in both eyes, I can now see. Enough said. Thank you very much to Dimitri and all the team at Birmingham Optical Express.
