Testimonials
After been turned down surgery with a high street optician who offer the same treatment it was suggested I contact Moorfields private patient department ,so I looked into this on the net and obtained a number which I rang and arranged a consultation. At the time my prescription was +9 in both eyes and was wearing contact lenses but also was wearing reading glasses on top of them as well. the staff were extremely friendly and professional and Mr Maurino was and his team in my mind are nothing short of miracle workers as due to the extremities of my case as with all surgery there were risks. the surgery was completely painless and only took about 20 minutes for each eye with a gap of 2 weeks between each eye in my case and the results were nothing short of fantastic , I now don’t wear any glasses for driving and every day use and only have to wear a small prescription for reading if required. As you can imagine for someone who has depended on glasses or contact lenses all my life since I can remember for me this is life changing I will be forever grateful to him and his team and would recommend Mr Maurino and his team to anyone who is even considering surgery ,as for cost please don’t be put off by my example as this is about the going rate for my prescription and the complexities of my case so every case is different and at the end of the day how can you put a price on your eye sight, for me the gain completely out weighed cost and risks.
Had a Lasik wavefront procedure for middle aged long sightedness. Very happy with procedure and excellent outcome.
Vincenzo and all his team are delightful.
Was recommended to Moorfields by a colleague at work who pointed out for eyes it is worth getting the best and if in London thats Moorfields
I had laser eye surgery three months ago, with fantastic results. The care and attention to detail by My Maurino and his team at Moorfields was excellent. After the initial consultation there was no pressure to go ahead with the surgery and the aftercare was excellent. Mr Maurino was available to discuss any queries pre and post-op and clearly answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend Mr Maurino to anyone considering laser eye surgery (and I already have).
I had my ICL op at the end of May and I am extremely happy with the results. I went from about -14 in both eyes to 20/20 vision so the change was quite dramatic. It really is like having HD vision.
I think it’s probably one of the best things I’ve done so it’s definitely money well spent.
I would recommend anyone with severe myopia to have this surgery done, especially under the care of Mr Maurino. Mr Maurino was very helpful throughout the whole process and clearly explained any queries that I had regarding the surgery. He and is staff are a credited to their profession and i couldn’t praise them enough.
Mr Maurino is at the very top of his field. In trusting your eyes to someone you should go to the best at Moorfields. As one of my friends said, ‘Moorfields is where you go when a less experienced surgeon messes up your eyes’.
If you want laser surgery, go to Moorfields and go to Mr Maurino. You will be in safe hands.
