Mr Vincenzo Maurino Reviews
The initial consultation was very thorough. Mr Maurino consulted other peers on my treatment to give piece of mind and was available on the phone to answer questions. This was invaluable as the time during the first appointment was minimal. The surgery experience was very smooth. Mr Maurino’s team were reassuring and explained clearly what would happen. Mr Maurino again offered to be available on the phone if I had any questions. Overall the results have been fantastic and I would recommend Lasek surgery with Mr Maurino. If there is any constructive advice it would be to give more time in the initial consultation and to reduce waiting times for consultation if possible.
Great treatment - hospital and surgeon were very clear and helpful and the pre-screening was very reassuring. There was more to the surgery from a surgeon's perspective than I initially expected (thinking everything was done with a machine) so I was happy I had gone with a clinic and surgeon of Mr. Maurino's standing. After-care excellent. Highly recommended.
Very hard to fault and I am extremely happy with the results of the surgery. One of the few things these days where you can say the money was well spent.
Everything went exactly according to plan, and most importantly expectations and how things would go were explained in a realistic manner (and happened that way!).
Wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend a family member or friend to Dr Maurino.
I would say to anyone who is considering having laser eye surgery but is worried about the procedure - put those fears to one side and go to Mr Maurino as he is a safe pair of hands. I had a high astigmatism in boths eyes and couldn't function without glasses and contacts but I had put off getting a consultation for years because I was scared. Finally, talked into it by friends and family, I went to see Mr Maurino who explained the procedure precisely and answered even my most stupid questions so I went away fully trusting him. The surgery itself was carried out so I felt comfortable as he reassured me throughout it and I knew exactly what to expect as it was explained so well beforehand -- and it seemed to pass very quickly. Now, I have 20/20 vision. It's changed my life completely and I can't thank Mr Maurino enough. My only regret is that I didn't get this done years ago.
Just about the best decision I ever took. Dr Maurino made it all very easy and I felt safe at every stage. All stages of the surgery from initial consultation to final check up are run most professionally.
I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Maurino and have in fact already done so.
I had some trepidation going into this surgery but felt reassured by Mr Maurino and his very warm staff. The surgery was over in 15 minutes and I had no side effects at all. It was expensive but worth it.
Fantastic surgery and great after care.
Thank you so much.
– Brillian surgeon
– I have recommended Mr Maurino to 5 potential new patients
– Worth every penny!
Like so many people who have had laser-eye surgery, I wish I had carried it out sooner. I carried out thorough research before choosing Vincenzo and went with him as he seemed to be the most qualified, with a professional website full of useful information about the procedure and testimonials from his previous customers. The entire process with Vincenzo and his team before, during and after the surgery has been simple and completely stress-free. I was extremely nervous before my surgery but I needn’t have been, as I experienced no pain and the team were able to keep me calm (thank you!). As well as the high standard of professional service, Vincenzo’s work was actually one of the more affordable fees I’d found, so there really is nothing I can fault. To this day, I am enjoying a glasses-free life with better-than 20/20 vision. Wish I didn’t wait 10 years to have it done now! It’s so nice to go on holiday and not worry about loosing your spectacles!
I cannot recommend Mr Maurino enough to anyone undergoing optical surgery. The results of my Lasek operation have surpassed all my expectations. The team at Moorfields are exceptionally friendly and professional and I will be suggesting them as the best choice to anyone considering surgery.
Despite a few administrative hiccups, overall my experience has been worth every penny. From the first check-up to the swift surgical procedure and diligent after-care.
Thank you for the gift of sight you have given me! My only wish is that I had done it sooner.
