problems with my right eye but Mr Soeldner, the surgeon was brilliant!

One year on from surgery everything is great!

At 61 i thought i was too old to gain much benefit from lazer eye surgury. The consultation was free and i felt i has nothing to lose. Mr Soelder proved to be very patient answering all of my questions, making sure i understood the procedure fully. He has proved to be pleasent and professional. throught all of the ongoing checkups which will last a year. My eye sight has improved beond my expectations. If anyone is hesitant about laser srugery i suggest you have an initial consultation, as i cannot recomment him highly enugh. I beleve him to be a highly skilled surgeion.

The prospect of increased travel in my job gave me the initial impetus to consider having laser eye surgery; I was keen to eliminate fiddly contact lenses from my daily routine. A quick search of local options led me to Tees Sight Clinic. I was particularly attracted by Mr Soeldner’s proven track record as a surgeon and by the comprehensive after-care package on offer. Both of these impressions were strengthened by my pre-assessment visit. The operation itself was surprisingly quick and I was in and out of the operating theatre within 10 minutes on both occasions. I was also back at work after the weekend (I had my surgery on a Friday afternoon). Indeed, within a few days I was already taking my ‘new eyes’ for granted. Whilst there is discomfort, pain is minimal and sedation is on offer for those who think it will make them a more cooperative patient. All in all, considering the detailed pre-assessment, structured year-long after-care and flexible appointments, I would thoroughly recommend Tees Sight Clinic.

I had thought about having my eyes done for the last couple of years but couldnt pluck up the courage, until my cousin told me about her experience with Hans and his team and how wonderful it had been. This was the reassurance I needed to go ahead, I hope by posting this review I can reassure others who like me keep hesitating. On my first visit to the clinic I met Mr Soeldner (Hans) who looked after me from that point on through all of the tests and the actual procedures, this was great as dealing with one person made me feel very comfortable and his professionalism and calm manner were very confidence inspiring. I had one eye done and Hans then tailored my second eye so that I can now see distance and close up for reading so it could be said I have designer eyes how amazing is that and how amazing is Hans. The procedures do cause some dicomfort but I have a low pain threshold and found them bearable, so if you are out there reading this pick up the phone and take that first step Hans and his team will offer you a platinum service.
P.S. ladies the only downside for me was no eye makeup for around six weeks afterwards, so dig out those designer shades!
