I had both of my eyes done in April and wish that I had done it sooner. I had LASIK and had my eyes done 2 weeks apart. I literally had instant results and had my last check up today. The professionalism of site for eyes is second to none. I rang up several times between my initial consultation and my surgery to ask questions and nothing was too much trouble.
The surgery itself was straightforward and is nowhere near as bad as it sounds. You just have sore eyes for a day or two.The after care I have received is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Yes, it is a lot of money, but you can't put a price on your sight. It really does feel like a miracle, you have an eye test you can barely read before surgery, and then when you return the next day you can read it!

Excellent result. Everything went perfectly to plan. I was totally reliant on my glasses and now have been signed off with 20:20 vision.

I chose the 'site for eyes' clinic after my sister recommended it following her laser correction a couple of years ago.
From the initial contact to the routine follow-up, the staff have been very helpful and professional. I was kept well informed via telephone enquiries, printed information and consultations with the staff.
The consultant was very thorough in explaining the procedures and the possible complications that may be involved.
The procedure has a level of discomfort for a short period of time, but wasn't painful, and although I was told that there may be pain in the couple of days that followed, I had nothing but a 'gritty' feeling in the eye.
I had right and left eyes treated, on seperate occasions, with lasek. I had moderate levels of shortsightedness and astigmatism, and both eyes now have excellent vision – as good if not better than I had with my glasses/contact lenses.
I would definitely recommend using 'site for eyes' to anyone wanting to enquire about laser vision correction.

Had laser treatment to correct my -7 shortsightedness almost 3 years ago.
After the procedure my right eye is now quite good, but I suffer really bad halos around lights at night. My left eye is now a little longsighted.
But the worst of all (by far)is that I had minor floaters prior to the procedure which since are now much much worse. I would recommend anyone to think long and hard about these side effects. I wish I hadn't had my eyes lasered now and stuck with my contact lenses.

I have been +5.0, + 4.5) long-sighted since I was 7 and have worn glasses until March of this year. I also wore contact lenses for 25 years with not problems. I decided to go for corrective surgery after discovering I would need bifocals the next time I change my glasses. I picked the Eye Infirmary because they where recommended and they are one of the top eye hospitals in the UK and Europe. Mr. Bell ensured that I knew everything about the risks, before the operation. I had both eyes done one month between surgery as I had the intraocular implants. I did not suffer from any pain, sore or uncomfortable ness after surgery, which was amazing! I have now got such fabulous vision that I only use very mild reading glasses.

It's changed my life, given me more confidence and I wish I had had it done it sooner! Mr D Bell and the whole team are to be recommended for their expertise, professionalism, dedication and friendly approach towards your welfare for you.
