I only have one regret about this surgery and that is that I didn’t have it done years ago! I find it hard to put into words how extremely happy I am with the outcome of this surgery and it has changed my life in ways I never realised I.e. walking in the rain and not having to clean my glasses off every time I go into a shop or taking my 2 year old son swimming and being able to see perfectly without having my glasses steam up!
Mr Kumar is a lovely man and he and the staff at the hospital are extremely friendly and on the day of the surgery were very reassuring as I was nervous. In actual fact the operation was complete in less than 10 minutes and I could see better than I ever have as soon as I sat up in the operating theatre!
I cannot recommend this procedure highly enough it has changed my life!

Having laser surgery on my eyes is the best decision I have made and I wish I had done it years ago. I had it done at the Duchy in Truro by Mr Kumar who is brilliant. The procedure is extremely quick and the results are instantaneous, recovery time was a few hours to feeling normal again. I would recommend this to anyone and Mr Kumar is the best.
I had Lasik laser surgery back in March after wearing glasses and contact lenses since I was 7 years old (now 50) by Mr Kumar at Duchy Hospital and am delighted with the results. I now have better than 20/20 vision and had no problems. Mr Kumar and the staff at the Duchy were amazing. I thoroughly recommend everyone who needs this to have the surgery.
So glad I had this done. Really quick and pain free. Really surprised by how quick the recovery time was. I was back on the train to London the following day and could barely tell I’d had it done.
