Centre for Sight also provides interest free pay monthly finance options over a generous 24 months – with some clinics, you’ll be paying 11% APR after the first year. As with most clinics, there’s a deposit of £500 to secure the surgery, but this cost comes off the total cost.

For the first few hours after surgery i found the pain quite severe even with my eyes closed. It was more of a
stinging sensation than the slight grittiness i had been told to expect. However after a few hours and a sleep plus paracetamol the pain went and there was no more discomfort. Overall I am very pleased with my treatment and happy with my vision. Thank you very much.

I had tissue-saving laser eye surgery on 6 June and, 5 months later, I am absolutely delighted with the results.
On the day after surgery, my long-distance vision was fantastic – I could see detail for which I would previously have needed binoculars, never mind glasses! At that stage, my close vision was quite fuzzy and I was getting a 'halo' effect around bright lights but I had been warned to expect this, so I did not panic, and within a few days it started to improve.
Now, 5 months later, I do not get any 'halo-ing' at all, and need reading glasses only for tasks like threading a needle or reading exceptionally small print. My distance vision is still excellent.
I would definitely recommend laser surgery at Centre for Sight for anybody with very short sight.
