Accuvision Laser Eye Clinic

What an outstanding experience, I cannot recommend the Accuvision team and their eyesight correction techniques highly enough. From the first time I contacted them through to the follow up visits after my operation, they have been the most efficient, polite, and thoroughly professional team. I first went to the London Clinic in Oct 2010 for an appraisal and I was pleasantly surprised to find the assessment as least pressured as possible. I was informed of all the options open to me and I was allowed to make the decision without feeling like I was being pushed one way or another. After a slight delay (personal circumstances) I booked in for surgery in Sept 2011, and had the treatment carried out on the Friday. Going back the next day for my 1st check up I already had 30:20 vision, amazing considering I was next to useless without my glasses. Three weeks later and I have almost 20:20 vision, and all of the discomfort is a distant memory. This was the biggest decision I have ever taken, entrusting my sight to a team of people who I barely knew, but I wouldn’t have changed anything. This has been the most exciting experience I have ever had and the best money I have ever spent.

As a fairly sporty person, I had been looking over the previous 10 years to have laser eye surgery to improve my vision, which had stabilised to around -4.5D. Therefore, I have experience of visiting different clinics, and whilst I cannot say if other clinics are really good, or not so, my instinct told me not to commit to surgery with a couple of them over the years.

One complication I had was ‘Keratoconus’, which Accuvision told me about 4-5 years ago. However, at this same period, whilst looking for second opinions, some other (reputable) clinics, did not diagnose this, and were very willing to take me for standard surgery. Despite, disappointment of not being able to have laser eye surgery many years ago, I’m absolutely delighted that Accuvision gave me the best advice objectively, using advanced imaging technology way back then.
It was even with greater pleasure therefore that a new treatment (Corneal Collagen Cross Linking) now exists for ‘Keratoconus’ – this to stem the worsening of the condition. This was all I expected when I went for my treatment in July this year. It was a complete bonus therefore that Accuvision were able to do secondary treatment to improve my uncorrected vision too. It is now 2 months later, and I must say that my dream for the last ten years has more or less been fulfilled, despite the long journey. In other words, I am spending my daily life without contact lenses and without glasses.

Every single member of Accuvision in Fulham treat and talk to you, they genuinely care. I had no hesitation in putting my eyes in their trust. The clinic team is led by Daryus Panthakey and for me it was important to know that I was not entrusting just experienced surgeons, but also one of the early pioneers in laser eye technology with my precious future vision; how lucky is that?!
I can say that I did my detailed research about many clinics, and Accuvision was one of the best on paper.

I had looked around for the very best in laser eye surgery and after some time considering my options decided that Accuvision were the best, even though I had to travel a couple of hours to get to the London and have the consultations / surgery. My initial consultation was very informative and the payment plans suited my situation.
I had the surgery in 2008 and now three years on am still very, very happy with the results and strongly recommend Accuvision as first choice for laser eye care. I went for the Trans-Epithelial treatment, although there was discomfort for the first couple of days and the healing took a few weeks once healed I never looked back (no pun intended).

Absolutely fantastic! I still can’t get over how amazing it is to be able to see having worn glasses and contacts all my life.
With a prescription of -9.00 I really didn’t think I would be suitable for surgery. However I decided to book an appointment just to discount the possibility and put the idea out of my head. On learning that surgery was an option I then took time to think about it and did some research. Within a couple of weeks I was certain I would take the plunge and it’s one of the best things I have ever done. Expectations were set that I may have a small residual prescription, but I thought that would be far better than the complete blur of -9.00
I now have no prescription and can see better than I ever did with contacts! The procedure is so fast and painless it’s absolutely nothing to worry about. It’s much worse going to the dentist!! It took a couple of days for my vision to settle but I had no problems at all after the surgery.
The staff at Accuvision London were fantastic and I really can’t thank them enough.

I had my surgery carried out on 7.7.11. My prescription was very bad, I was very long sighted and had astigmatism. It is a miracle!! I can now see and drive and watch tv without glasses. I only need glasses for reading small print. The treatment, and everything at the Leeds clinic was so professional and friendly. I am thrilled to bits. Thank you Simon and team.
