I can’t recommend Alex Ionides and Moorfields Eye Hospital highly enough. The hospital itself has the best staff, equipment and surgery; and Alex was fantastic from the start to the end of the process. He is both highly qualified and extremely empathetic. Most importantly he was also extremely impressive in the operating room. I have just had my 6 month check-in and my sight is better than 20.20. Thank you Alex and team!

I am pleased with the recent eye surgery to correct my vision. I felt reassured and confident with the Surgeon Alexander Ionides. I was worried about eye surgery and put my trust in Alexander Ionides.
The office and the private clinic at Moorfields is first class. It is amazing when I wake up in the morning and I can see clearly.
I recommend Alexander Ionides highly.

I originally went to visit Mr Ionides to discuss cataract surgery
I had worn glasses/lenses for 40 years and was very apprehensive of any laser surgery
Mr Ionides answered all my questions and I can honestly say that I am so happy with the results.
I was very apprehensive about the procedure but was amazed at the standard of care- Mr Ionides and his staff are on hand to answer any questions you may have.
I then had Lasek surgery to correct astigmatism in both eyes- now I can see perfectly and do not need any glasses for reading.
I would highly recommend Mr Ionides and Moorfields Eye Hospital to anyone considering Laser Eye Surgery.
The care before and after the surgery is fantastic. -
The care before, during and after was excellent and the surgery was amazing.
I can now see perfectly after 30 years of glasses and lenses and I do not need reading glasses.
The surgery was completely pain free and the discomfort after was minimal due to the drops that were provided.
I would recommend the clinic and Mr Ionides to anyone, my daughter has already had her sight corrected by him. -
I had Lasek surgery about 7 months ago and it was the best decision I made. Mr Ionides was fantastic. I was very apprehensive about having surgery on my eyes but Mr Ionides soon put me at ease about the procedure. He answered all of my questions honestly and I came away from the consultation assured that I was doing the right thing. On the day of the surgery, I was so nervous to a point where I was almost panicking but Mr Ionides and his team were so reassuring and took such great care of me that I soon relaxed and I wasn’t worried because I knew I was in very good hands. I would highly recommend Mr Ionides and Moorfields Eye Hospital to anyone considering Laser Eye Surgery. It may be more expensive but paying that little extra gives you that reassurance that you are in safe hands and you are being taken good care of.
