I had Ultralasik plus with Intralase because I didn't want to take any chances with my eyesight. I went with Ultralase due to recommendation from a number of people who had used them and a few tales of woe from people who had gone elsewhere. Even though they are probably not the cheapest, I was not at all diappointed and feel I had value for money. The staff were really pleasant, went into great detail with me pre-op and happily answered all my questions, of which there were many. I had the treatment yesterday afternoon and within 24 hours I had better than 6/20 vision. Totally elated! My visions is improving still and the wavefront has drastically improved my night vision which was realy awful beforehand even with contact lenses.

I had PRK in my left eye in June and then in my right eye in August, performed by Vinod Gupta at Hammersmith. I have to say i couldn't be happier, Mr Gupta and the team have been so fantastic. I was on the table and ready to have Lasik when Mr Gupta said he couldn't go ahead with it as i had 'loose epithelium', my only option in my mind was to have PRK. I was never pushed into anything and was even given time in a spare office to go on the net to do research. I went home and thought very hard about what i wanted to do and decided to go ahead with PRK but only in one eye first. I had a few days of discomfort and the odd shooting pains but as soon as the bandage lens was taken out it felt great. I booked in for my right eye almost straight away! My vision is now better then 20/20, no glasses, no evil contact lenses! It really has been life changing! So to anyone considering laser surgey i can very very highly reccommend, Mr Gupta and his team at Hammersmith!!!

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ultralase for surgery. I had Ultralasikplus with Intralase at the Liverpool clinic in September. Customer Service there is excellent, the staff make you feel very valuable as a customer, and the surgeon was very calming! Having vision correction is one of te best decisions I've ever made! I no longer need to decide each morning on contact lenses or glasses depending on my activities for the day.
