BELIVE ME, THERE'S NOTHING TO FEAR. IT REALLY DOESN'T HURT! IT WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID - I WISH I HAD IT DONE YEARS AGO. REALLY - DON'T WORRY!!

I am absolutely delighted with the results of the procedure. I now have perfect eyesight and I can't tell you how much this has changed my life - confidence wise. I would recommend it to anyone who wears glasses or contacts. The staff were extremely kind and supportive and really helped me through the whole process which I may add was totally painless. Thanks again Ultralase.

Dealing with Ultralase was an absolute pleasure. Not only have they enabled me to identify my own kids in the swimming baths, they also made the whole process simple and above all, friendly and professional. I can not praise the staff highly enough. Everyone - from Receptionist to Surgeon - was incredidibly helpful and supportive all the way through the process. Even in the operating room, I was given a running commentary of what was going to happen and how it would feel. And surprisingly, every thing that was said was true. It didn't hurt at all. In summary, I would say that Ultralase made a quite scarey situation into something that was fast, easy and comfortable.

Having Ultralase treatment has been one of the best things I have ever done. It has made such a fantastic difference to my sight - to be told that I could now pilot a plane if I wanted because my sight was up to the required level was unbelievable, especially when I had always referred to myself as "blind as a bat". The staff were wonderful, friendly and very professional. The treatment really was painless, and to be able to see road signs on the way home was a dream come true. I would recommend the treatment to anyone who is thinking about it. In fact I could happily work in the Sales Department of Ultralase telling everybody how wonderful it all is.

I had considered laser treatment for many years, and following the successful treatment of a friend of mine (along with the breakage of my glasses!), I finally plucked up the courage to have my consultation. From the minute I stepped in to the Ultralase office, I was at ease, and when I was informed that I was a suitable candidate, I was thrilled. I had to wait approx 1 month before my treatment, and during that time, I went through all kinds of emotions. I even spoke on the telephone to Maurice Quinlan, who was my initial first contact at Ultralase, and he gave me the confidence I needed to believe that finally this was the right time to do this. I had my =proceedure done at the Hammersmith clinic on Friday 22nd October at approx 12.15, and by 12.30 both eyes were done, and I COULD SEE! By my first check up, the next day, I had achieved 20/20 vision, and touch wood, absolutely no side effects! I have been putting contact lenses into my eyes for the last 25 years, and ! I can only describe what what has happened to me is nothing short of a miracle. I can't thank you enough for my life changing experience, and I would recommend any one who is considering this treatment to go ahead, and not to wait, as I did. Thank you to everyone at Ultralase Hammersmith, Tottenham Court Road, Maurice Quinlan and Indeed Mr Gupta. My whole outlook on life has changed, and its all down to you.

I am celebrating the first anniversary of perfect sight and I want to thank everyone at Ultralase, Guildford, for their marvellous service. All the staff were kind,informed, helpful and thoroughly professional from my first enquiry to being "signed off" 6 months later. I have enjoyed this last year immensely because of your skillful correction of my eyesight, and now at times I forget that I ever was short sighted! Thank you so much for bringing my soft focus world into sharp vision! I shall continue to recommend you to others.

From my very first consulation to the follow up appointments I found everybody really pleasant helful and reassuring. I was most impressed by the smart modern surroundings at the Ultralase Chelmesford clinic. As so many people have said my only regret is having been put off by out of date negative publicity regarding laser treatment (for example I thought I would have to have one eye done at a time and be unable to see properly for three months after each op). As for the differences it has made, where do I begin? I can get out of bed without injuring myself on a child's toy which I hadnt seen, I save 10 mins every morning fiddling with lenses, I can go swimming without worrying about losing a lens, glasses dont steam up on rainiy days, I can ski/snowboard at speed or in bad light conditions without losing a lens, I can wear ski goggles (my lenses used to fall out if did !). My makeup stays on - no more one eye made up where I had a lens problem! None of the side effects I expected materialised - I have better nightvision than with contacts or glasses. The ONLY downside is that my eyes run when I chop onions and the contacts stopped that. I really wish I had done this years ago THANKYOU ULTRALASE! Sorry another downside - I have bored all my friends family and colleagues senseless by "demonstrating" my perfect vision and going on and on and on about Ultralase!

I underwent LASIK treatment in June 2003 at the Ultralase Hammersmith clinic, and its one of the best decisions I've ever made. It was such an easy procedure and all the staff were so friendly and reassuring. I was hardly nervous by the time I went in to the treatment room. I could'nt believe it when later that day I was able to read the clock on the video from the other side of the room!! Can't remember a time when I could ever do that! My follow up treatments are now complete and I have 20/20 vision and haven't experienced a single problem. It's like I never needed glasses. I would definitey recommend the treatment to anyone who is fed up of glasses and contacts.
