Ultralase

I was very impressed with the initial consultation with Ultralase to assess my suitability for surgery to correct my vision. They were much more thorough than I expected and gave me ALL the facts about my eyes and what I could realistically expect if I were to go though with it. From this, I made my decision to go ahead. I was exceptionally nervous prior to going through with the procedure, but was totally calmed by a very professional team. Someone was even there to hold my hand throughout the session. In short I am delighted with the results which have changed my life in such a positive way & I know definately made the right decision to go with Ultralase who from start to finish have shown exceptional professionalism.

I'm really pleased with the laser eye surgery. The experience wasn't painful but a little bizarre! I felt that I could really trust the staff right through from the receptionists to the surgeon. I'm still getting used to not having to fumble for my glasses in the morning and went swimming for the first time a couple of weeks ago which was also odd as I could see the clock at the pool for the first time so could see how I was doing! Overall, I'm made up with the surgery done and have already had one friend have it done on my recommendation.

I found the staff very friendly, efficient and made me feel comfortable, I was terrified when I arrived for my treatment but I was soon put at ease by two most friendly ladies. The treatment has made an enormous difference to my life - I love that I never have to wear glasses or lenses any more, in fact I even forgot that I used to rely on them so heavily.

I was one of the unlucky customers that needed the operation performed twice, this was due to the corneal flap not being cut properly the first time. However, I did have to go through the post-op aftercare service including all the eye drops etc without having the benefit of better vision. The service was outstanding and they did everything and more to ensure that I was looked after properly and were very reassuring. I had no problems the second time, and I am very pleased with the results. I would do, and have, recommended Ultralase.

My Ultralase experience was so good I have since recommended it to a work colleague and one of my friends, both who had the surgery and are enjoying life without glasses. It was so professional and over very quickly. The results were instant and I am so glad I did it.

I had lasek done at hammersmith about months ago. Originally was going to have lasik but followed their experts advice and had lasek. Ultralase excellent throughout, incl when I got poked in the eye a week after surgery (fully recovered). I was very nervous, especially with the switch to lasek, but it was all fine and almost completely painless. One word of advice - if you have lasek get some audio books in to last the first 2-3 days, during which time you're pretty useless, and don't assume you're going to be driving for the first week or two - I understand lasik is much quicker recovery.

Trying to put what my treatment has done for me into words is difficult, but it made me feel like I had won the lottery. Within 6 hours of treatment I could see perfectly, and suffered very little discomfort. It was worth every penny and I can't believe I had any worries about it. The staff are second to none and I know I made the best decision coming to Ultralase. Don't hesitate to have laser treatment - I'm glad I didn't.

I was a little nervous at the thought of having treatment done, but from my first appointment the staff were so friendly and informative. I would recommend it to anybody - I still can't believe I can see without glasses or lenses. Some mornings I reach over to get my glasses and realise I don't need them, all thanks to Ultralase.

My eyesight was very poor and I had to have a very strong prescription for each eye. The consultations were very helpful and professional, and treatment was not recommended until my sight had settled after contact lenses. I was advised that I would probably need spectacles for driving, computer work and TV etc. The Lasek treatment was not uncomfortable at all and I could see better straight away. Initial soreness disappeared overnight, but it took a few days for my eyes to settle. Once the protective lenses came out, my long sight was amazing, and over the next few weeks, my short and medium vision improved too. The results, 3 months on, are amazing. Better than 20/20, no spectacles except for reading, which I needed anyway. Have no worries or fears and GO FOR IT! You won't regret it.

After all these years, I wake and can see, swim without glasses and feel more independent. Professional service, reassuring staff amd a startling effect and result.
