I was due some new glasses and because of my prescription – short sighted with astigmatisms, they cost a bomb. I decided if Ultralase could operate on my eyes then I would go for it.
On ‘D’ Day I have to say I was really anxious. I needed to know every detail regarding the surgical procedure. With the aid of my ‘rescue remedy’ and holding the hand of the nurse, I was extremely brave! DO you know it really didn’t hurt at all – that part was a real surprise!
Also, I could see straight away – didn’t expect that. To be honest I would say using the aftercare eye drops and not allowing water into your eyes was the only ‘pain’! Anyway, here I am today – 1 month later – with what I can only describe as ‘bionic’ eyes. I no longer need glasses and have excellent correct vision. The treatment is truly amazing and the staff have been incredible. Totally recommended!
