I was due some new glasses and because of my prescription – short sighted with astigmatisms, they cost a bomb. I decided if Ultralase could operate on my eyes then I would go for it.
On ‘D’ Day I have to say I was really anxious. I needed to know every detail regarding the surgical procedure. With the aid of my ‘rescue remedy’ and holding the hand of the nurse, I was extremely brave! DO you know it really didn’t hurt at all – that part was a real surprise!
Also, I could see straight away – didn’t expect that. To be honest I would say using the aftercare eye drops and not allowing water into your eyes was the only ‘pain’! Anyway, here I am today – 1 month later – with what I can only describe as ‘bionic’ eyes. I no longer need glasses and have excellent correct vision. The treatment is truly amazing and the staff have been incredible. Totally recommended!

Was very nervous beforehand but all staff at Ultralase put me at ease and the surgeon was first class. Vision without glasses is fantastic though I would say it is taking between 4-6 weeks for eyes to heal properly. That being said I had 20:20 vision 24 hours after surgery! Amazing!
