It has been 3 weeks since my eye surgery and i can say i have had no problems at all. Mr Kumar has been very attentive and thorough. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of check ups and contact with Mr Kumar, it makes you feel very comfortable after having the surgery and knowing that everything is doing what it should be. I can now see 2 lines on the chart more than you would expect with someone with 20/20 vision. Highly recommend the surgery and Mr Kumar/Duchy Hospital.

I had Lasik laser surgery back in March after wearing glasses and contact lenses since I was 7 years old (now 50) by Mr Kumar at Duchy Hospital and am delighted with the results. I now have better than 20/20 vision and had no problems. Mr Kumar and the staff at the Duchy were amazing. I thoroughly recommend everyone who needs this to have the surgery.

Having laser surgery on my eyes is the best decision I have made and I wish I had done it years ago. I had it done at the Duchy in Truro by Mr Kumar who is brilliant. The procedure is extremely quick and the results are instantaneous, recovery time was a few hours to feeling normal again. I would recommend this to anyone and Mr Kumar is the best.

Brilliant service. I had to change my consultation last minute & they were very helpful in assisting to more convient time. Following my consultation, I was offered surgery only 3 days later - best decision i ever made. Mr Kumar allowed me to call him several times with many questions before the operation and also after too. The whole team and procedure went very smoothly and i was home within 2 hours of leaving the house! I was re-assured at all time with honest & trust-worthy details throughout all aspects. Highly recommended!

I only have one regret about this surgery and that is that I didn't have it done years ago! I find it hard to put into words how extremely happy I am with the outcome of this surgery and it has changed my life in ways I never realised I.e. walking in the rain and not having to clean my glasses off every time I go into a shop or taking my 2 year old son swimming and being able to see perfectly without having my glasses steam up! Mr Kumar is a lovely man and he and the staff at the hospital are extremely friendly and on the day of the surgery were very reassuring as I was nervous. In actual fact the operation was complete in less than 10 minutes and I could see better than I ever have as soon as I sat up in the operating theatre! I cannot recommend this procedure highly enough it has changed my life!

I had LASIK surgey in May, I was really nervous as I think most people would be and Mr Kumar was simply amazing. I didn't ask many questions, prefering the I would rather not know option, and on the day I arrived at 9 and was on my way home by 11. I really do recommend everyone have this done, I participate in alot of sport and have worn glasses for circa 30 years and as others have said, my only regret is not having done this sooner! Mr Kumar is a complete gentleman and I trusted him and his judgement from the minute I went in to his consulting room and many of my colleagues at work had recommended him and the treatment too. I could not read the top letter on the chart prior to surgery and now can read the bottom row and have better than 20/20 vision. THANK YOU!!!!!

I had both lenses replaced by Mr Kumar who was very easy to talk to and feel comfortable with. The pre and post care was also excellent. The day of my surgery I was nervous but the staff were great and put me at ease.
All in all I can find no fault in the staff or care received. The results have been life changing for me an I would highly recommend Mr Kumar and his team.

I had laser surgery yesterday and my eyesight is now at 80%, good enough to drive! It is expected to improve over the next 7 days to 90-95%. My perscription was -3 and -2.75 left and right respectively. My vision is still a little blurred, however my first treat this morning was to be able to see the alarm clock without groping for my glasses.
The surgery was painless but the anithseptic wore off on the train home and my eyes felt like they were being rubbed by sandpaper. This only lasted a few hours. Overall I am really pleased and cannot wait to see how it improves over the next week
