I had UltraLasek plus (incl. Wavefront) on 19/12/06 and have just had my 6 month check-up. The surgery was carried out at the Bristol branch by Dr Tahmina Islam. My prior prescription was: R -4.25 SPH, -2.00 CYL, 3 AXIS and L -4.00 SPH, -2.25 CYL, 3 AXIS and I now am delighted to have 20:20 vision. In natural light my eyesight is excellent, but in artificial light its not quite as good - something I never noticed with glasses. Also, my eyes are occasionally a little dry in the mornings and there's a little discomfort if I rub them too hard. However, none of these things are an issue, just observations, and life without spectacles is great. I would give the highest recommendation to Ultralase - they may be slightly pricier than others, but the level of service was excellent and what price can you put on the care of your eyesight? If you were to have any concerns following surgery from a cheaper company, I think you'd ask yourself whether if you'd paid more, would you still have problems...? I am extremely pleased that I made the decision to undergo laser eye surgery and Ultralase were truly excellent.

Don't put up with glasses or contact lenses. Ultralase is brilliant. I am so glad I went to the consultation. Treatment was fast and my vision was 20/20 just after 24 hours. I had some bruising in the eye but it cleared up quickly. Life without glasses and contact lenses is great. I am very impressed with the accuracy of their lasers, surgeon and iris recognition technology. My prescription was -10 and -9...the surgeon said I was near the limits.
