Ultralase

Having lazer eye treatment made an amazing difference to my life. It is wonderful how 20 minutes of painless surgery can achieve such marvellous results. I have fantastic vision and i tell everyone that the treatment at ultralase is 100%.

It's the best thing I've ever done my eyes have been perfect ever since and I've had no problems with them. It has made such a difference with every aspect of my life, everything is so much better. The staff are very friendly and will help as much as possible. The service I received was no less than 100% and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Having Ultralase treatment was the best decision i had ever made, i'd recommend it to anybody. My eyesight is now perfect and my eyes are very healthy. I don't have to worry about going swimming and i certainly do not miss reaching for my glasses first thing in the morning. I am highly delighted and it has made a huge difference in my life. Before I could not get out of bed without fumbling for my glasses.Now I only need glasses for reading.For the first time I am able to drive without glasses and I can swim without goggles and I can get to and from the changing rooms.I had a -8 pescription and now one eye is virtually perfect and the other is -.25. The treatment is amasing.I would and have recommended you to many people. It has changed my life and if the cost was two or three times as much it would still be worth every penny.

My eyes were operated on in 1989 or 1990.So long ago I can't remember which.Since so few postings are more than 3 or 4 years , perhaps a longer-term report may hold a little extra interest. Mr Jory Senior performed the operations 3 weeks apart. My original vision, if memory serves was about -1.75 and -2.25dioptres. I had only needed spectacles for about three/four years at that time and was then 44 years old.In those four years prior to surgery,from the first wearing of any specs,I had gone through about 3 or 4 prescriptions, getting strongerand stronger lenses each time. The operations(RK)were almost without any discomfort,during surgery and whilst healing.I think my post-op vision became +0.25 and +0.50d. Not bad eh!Well the years passed, and I continued to see really well to drive, to read(even small print)and even to pursue my hobby of target shooting. I had only the usual slight haloes(eg.looking at the moon)down one edge of low-lighted objects and little starring around street lights. This was really of little bother. A positive side-effect seemed to be a halt in the original downward spiral and my sight really stabilised. In the last 3-4 years, I have found that my reading/close up sight was not quite as good as before, and I started wearing cheap 'supermarket'reading glasses.Fine, until about 2-3 months ago.In those last 3 months,my close-up vision has needed +2.5 cheap readers(from 3-4 years of +1.25/1.5d) and my non-spectacle day-time long sight has now become a little blurry(say car number-plates at a 'fair' distance, or some text,particularly white, on TV across the room). When driving at night, tail-lights have a red haze all around, but it's not troublesome(yet!) It appears to be getting worse over time. So today I called the LCRS to see what they can do for an old-timer.I shall be going next week for a consultation and perhaps another op or two. It's nearly two years since I had both eyes done. It's quite simply the best thing I've ever done! I've even forgotten now that I ever wore glasses. The best thing was my first holiday after having it done, I was in the pool with the children - and I could see! It was the best feeling ever. I was recommended to Ultralase, and I have recommended it to everyone interested. It's the best thing I've ever done - for me.

It's the best thing I have ever done in my life. I had it done January 2003 and have had no problems since. the staff were extremley friendly and supportive - they've seen me at a moment's notice if I've got paranoid about a twinge afterwards (and there's never been anything wrong!!) and the freedom to do anything I want with my life without worrying about contact lenses/glasses is amazing! I perform a lot on stage - and I no longer have to worry about lights reflecting in my glasses or getting stage make-up on my contact lenses. Last year i got a custard pie in the face on stage - thanks goodness I didn't have lenses in!!!

I had LASIK eye surgery in May 2002 and its the best thing I've ever done. Within a week a colleague and another friend had already made appointments to have the same surgery and both now have perfect vision like me! The staff were particularly helpful and the whole experience was very efficient and more importantly pain free! I would (and often do) recommend anyone to have the procedure - you'll forget you ever wore glasses!

I found the whole experience much better than anticipated. The staff were all friendly & reassuring and my eyesight is better than ever. Having worn contact lenses for over 30 years, it has made a tremendous improvement to my lifestyle. I find night driving much better than with lenses. I have since recommended Ultralase to several friends, colleagues and family members. It was definitely one of the best things I have done!!

The experience was made so much easier by the wonderful staff at Ultralase, they put you at ease and helped you to relax from the moment you arrived tothe moment you leave, they explained things clearly as they went along and at no time was I in any doubt as to what was happening.
