Using Ultralase is the best thing I've ever done, they are very professional from start to finish and made me feel special.It's definetly made my life a lot easier having the treatment done. I have no regrets because I chose the best.

Having my eyes lasered was the best thing I ever did, it was either having my eyes done or a house deposit. I chose my eyes and have never looked back. It has now been over 6 months and I have 20/20 vision. Not only was the treatment quick easy and painless the aftercare was of a very high standard which is why I chose Ultralase. There are no hidden costs its all in the price of the treatment. All the staff I delt with were extreamly helpful.

I underwent LASEK treatment with Ultralase in February 2004 from -2.25 prescription. I am delighted with the results. It did take me 2 weeks to get to driving standard initially, which had been described to me. My sight is now as good as it was with glasses. Going to the beach, playing 5-a-side, going away for the weekend, now all hassle free

I've become a laser eye surgery bore I'm afraid and feel that I just have to tell anyone I meet that wears glasses just how having the treatment can change your life! I had surgery at Ultralase on 5 November 2003 and I've never looked back!!! I've really noticed the difference 1st thing in the morning being able to see the time on the alarm clock and swimming and holidays - not having to take prescription sunglasses with me as well as normal glasses and contact lenses and being able to swim & snorkel in the sea and to see perfectly is just amazing! It took me a long time to decide whether or not to go ahead with this type of treatment - even to have a consultation. Having spoken to the staff at ultralase I was fairly sure it was the right thing to do. I didn't want the treatment for vanity reasons - I actually liked wearing glasses, but was finding glasses and contact lenses increasingly inconvenient. I particularly found it difficult to cope when on holiday abroad. The staff in Chester were fantastic, really helpful and supportive - I was really scared of the procedure but it was over within minutes and I was astounded by the immediate results. I remember clearly sitting up and being able to read the time on the clock on the wall opposite me - a small thing, but something I'd not been able to do beforehand. Since then it's just been great, I can't remember now what it was like to have poor eye sight. I also found the staff on the central telephone helpdesk really helpful. If people ask me about the experience, I tell them the procedure itself wasn't particularly pleasant, but it was very quick and well worth it. It's the best decision I've made so far!

Having Ultralase treatment was like being born again. With a minus 9.0 prescription I never thought even with treatment that I would get un-aided perfect vision again. I can now enjoy holidays in the pool and sea without worrying about contact lenses and this has made a vast impact to my personal life as well. Staff were brilliant and would recommend treatment to anyone .

My experience with Ultralase at the Birmingham Clinic was excellent from the very first. At my initial assessment time was taken to explain the tests carried out, what the treatment itself would involve and all the aftercare requirements. On the day of the procedure great care was taken to ensure that I knew what was happening at every stage and that I was as comfortable as possible. Having the treatment has improved my life beyond words. I had reached the stage of needing two pairs of glasses - for distance and for reading - and was completely fed-up of changing between the two! As I work a lot with computers, I needed both pairs of specs with me constantly as I could not even walk across the office without swapping them over. The freedom I have now to get on with life confident that I can see clearly whatever I need to is marvellous. And now that I no longer need to carry two spec cases around I've been able to swap my kitchen-sink size holdalls for dinky little handbags!

Having a healthcare background meant that I was very careful about the potential of laser eye treatment, both positively and negatively. I did a lot of research on treatment providers, as you can never be too careful with your eyes. When I visited Ultralase in Leeds I was greeted by not only a friendly and efficient receptionist but also a clean, organised clinic environment that immediately instilled confidence. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and honestly and even any irrational fears were professionally dealt with. The extent of the pre-treatment testing was a real comfort to me. I also really valued the approach the staff took towards allowing me adequate time to consider my decision over whether to go through with the treatment or not. I did not feel pressured in any way throughout the process. The treatment itself was absolutely painless and was over in no time at all. After approximately an hour my vision had improved significantly and by the following day I had 6/5 vision in one eye and 6/6 in the other. My year of after care was astounding, everyone was so thorough and genuinely helpful. I had minor problems with one eye becoming a little dry but again I was looked after superbly. 2 years on and now my vision has settled to 6/4 which is better than I could ever have hoped for. It means that I can live my life completely free of glasses and contact lenses. I can enjoy the extreme challenges and sports in my life, that I love, without restriction. I would say that I have become an informed advocate of LASIK and I can only say a great big THANK YOU to Ultralase for giving me my vision back.

My whole experience with Ultralase was excellent, I couldn't fault it one bit. The service was excellent, I felt like I was the only one who they were treating. The professionalism was first rate and it was very re-assuring to feel that they knew what they were doing and took great care of all their patients. The operation itself was a breeze and went very smoothly, I always felt safe and that they were in control. I would and have recommended Ultralase to any of my friends who have asked about my operation. The only downside to the treatment was that my fiance preferred me in glasses so she was most upset with Ultralase!!!

Ultralase has changed my life beyond all expectations - it is lovely waking up and seeing the time on the alarm clock and not having to fumble for glasses or wearing contact lenses!! I had my treatment at the Chelmsford clinic which is quite near to where I live - the staff were wonderful (even helping me choose which clear lense glasses suited me best!!) and very helpful. I would, and have, recommended the treatment to friends, colleagues etc. One of my colleagues had the surgery carried out in London and got better than 20/20 vision and then decided to quit his job and go travelling - he said it changed his life and wished he did it years ago!! here here I say.
