I recommend Visualase in Bolton without hesitation. All the staff helped make me feel comfortable from the first visit. I chose Epilasik at first but Mr Heaven advised me to go for Lasik as it suited my prescription better and also my expectations of the surgery. With a small child I needed a procedure with the shortest recovery time. I was really amazed that by day 2 I was seeing well with no discomfort, bright light did not bother me and I had no pain. I can honestly say that I have had more discomfort and trouble after visits to the dentist. I was given extra eye drops to take with me on holiday. If you have worn contact lenses for years and are used to 'handling' your eyes then you should find the surgery easy. It really isn't as bad as you might imagine.
