It's the best thing I have ever done in my life. I had it done January 2003 and have had no problems since. the staff were extremley friendly and supportive - they've seen me at a moment's notice if I've got paranoid about a twinge afterwards (and there's never been anything wrong!!) and the freedom to do anything I want with my life without worrying about contact lenses/glasses is amazing! I perform a lot on stage - and I no longer have to worry about lights reflecting in my glasses or getting stage make-up on my contact lenses. Last year i got a custard pie in the face on stage - thanks goodness I didn't have lenses in!!!
