I was very sceptical when I first looked into lasik surgery, I undertook a lot of research, the deciding factor for me was a recommendation from my older brother’s doctor. I had the consultation and went home to think about it, no pressure was put on me from Ultralase. I did a bit more research and decided Ultralase was most suited to me. The day of the op came, I sat having my pre op check and the lights went out, Chelmsford was without electricity. For safety reasons the op was rescheduled for the next week, the train then broke down and the surgeon was held up in traffic. I can laugh now but I didn’t on the day. My vision took about six months to settle, I have better than 20:20 vision. Because of this I persuaded my twin brother and older brother to have lasik surgery with Ultralase, for them the results are better than me, my twin had star bursts before treatment but now they are all gone. For us, Ultralase is a family affair, which has improved our quality of life beyond any comprehension. The best bit about them is that they won’t just take anyone, they have been in the business long enough to know not to accept failures.
