From start to finish it was a very positive experience. The initial consultation was thorough and put my mind at ease in terms of treatment, side effects etc. I did feel a bit concerned in terms of making a decision and appointment although I’m very glad I did s within a week of my consultation I was having treatment.
The procedure itself was shorter than I thought it would be and although a little uncomfortable, definitely not painful – and what’s 20 minutes of a little discomfort for such a life changing thing! Afterwards (2-3 hours) was difficult and my eyes sore but waking up in the morning and being able to see was the best thing ever!
