The actual operation was not uncomfortable at all and the standard of care both before and during it was excellent. I had complete faith in the surgeon and his team as they were so thorough and professional. I was also impressed with the standard of equipment used - state of the art. I have been shortsighted since I was 5 - and now at 50 I am free of it at last!
