I had my Lasik treatment on Friday 30th April 2004 at the Birmingham clinic. I was considering cancelling as I was completely terrified even though I have friends that have had the same treatment and had reassured me that there was nothing to it!! Well they were right, the procedure is simple, quick and painless. I only experienced discomfort in the light immediately afterwards and by the next morning my eyes felt fine. This has meant so much to me being able to give up the contact lenses and glasses I have needed since the age of 12, which is more years than I care to disclose ! Best money I have ever spent because it lasts unlike a holiday.
