I was very keen to have the surgery to get out of contact lenses as soon as possible. The staff were excellent throughout, and after 1 month my vision seems better than it ever did with contacts. I would recommend that anyone having treatment takes some painkillers immediately afterwards – my eyes were extremely painful for a few hours.
