I was very nervous on the day of the operation, but the staff were very empathetic and put me totally at my ease. The sensation was very strange – a little uncomfortable, but not at all painful, and I was amazed at how quickly it was all over. I was light-sensitive for the rest of the day, and the following morning I woke up with perfect vision. Fantastic!! I wish I'd done it years ago!!
