I went for a consultation with Ultralase in 2005 although suitable, lost my confidence and decided not to go through with it, despite excellent service. 5 years later I plucked up the courage and have not looked back. I needed LASEK to sort my short sightedness. The procedure itself was absolutely fine. In a way I quite enjoyed and would definitely do it again if I had to. I was very nervous beforehand so the team in Northampton put me in touch with someone who had LASEK 2 years ago. He was very reassuring and put my mind at rest. The recovery period is slightly longer with LASEK but a lot of sleep and rest helped immensely. It was uncomfortable at times but things have settled well. With LASEK you just have to give it time. I am so pleased with the results and cannot praise Ultralase's patient care enough. Thank you.
