I went along to a consultation with Ultralase and was not impressed with what I found. I was forgotton about for an hour and left in a waiting room. I finally went through the required tests with various people, all of whom were excellent and thought things were getting a bit better. Only to then be passed over to a different gentleman who I can only describe as a salesman. He suggest a treatment for my prescription and preceeded to go onto a hard sell tactic to make me book the treatment and pay a deposit. I refused to do anything that day and was so discusted with my treatment and the hard sell tactics, that I went to another company for a consoltation. The new company recommended a different treatment that was less severe and infact less expensive. I have now had the treatment and have better than 20/20 vision. I feel that Ultralase would have performed the wrong treatment on me and the worrying thing is that if I hadn't gone to another company for a second opinion I would never have known. I would have also paid twice as much for the treatment than I actually did.

I would recommend having a second opinion before taking any treatment.
