What an eye-opener - literally!! Having read all the reviews of this clinic I made an appointment to see Mr Ball. I too have worn glasses since the age of 7, moving to contact lenses when 21, and daily lenses when 35. My prescription was -7 and -5.5. We also have a history of cataracts in the family - both elder sisters, mother, grandmother - and as I am now in mid-50s, not something I was looking forward to.
I can confirm that everything that has been said before is true - my experience of this clinic in January 2010 (first eye 18th Jan, second eye 1st Feb) has been truly remarkable. Mr James Ball is knowledgeable and professionalism personified, staff are courteous and helpful, the procedures carried out sympathetically - and the results even better than imagined! I was driving within 48 hours of the last operation, at night - no haloing, no residual blurring - and incredible vision. For someone who has never been able to see first thing in a morning - this is miraculous. I only wish the technology had been about 30 years ago. I can now look forward literally - with no future eyesight problems anticipated, and no cataract problems to deal with.
I would most sincerely recommend anyone with eyesight problems to see Mr Ball. He is eminently trustworthy and capable, and will give you the best advice available according to 'your' problem. Your trust will not be misplaced. Thank you James - and all your staff.
