Decided to upgrade to Lasik from Epi-Lasik based on positive comments and recovery time in relation to driving etc.
Had treatment at Leicester Optimax following the consultation and tests by a South African Doctor called Andre. He was fantastic as were the rest of the Leicester staff. I would agree with the dentist comments that other people have left (burning smell etc)and the general easiness of the operation. My sight is now fantastic 4 months 'in', (now see where my golf ball has landed!!)however the immediate results were very good after about 4 - 5 hours. My own personal account of discomfort - felt like a double eye poke for about three hours after returning home. Started back at work on the Friday having had treatment on the Wednesday afternoon.
