Deciding to go ahead with laser eye surgery was such a difficult decision for me as i was so nervous that something might go wrong, but it is honestly the best decision i have ever made!

I had lasik intralase with wavefront at Glasgow on Wed and the results were noticable straight away! By my post op appointment i could see better than i did when wearing my contacts!

The procedure itself is over very quickly and isn't at all sore. The worst thing i did was get worked up about it and was shaking the whole way through! A lovely woman held my hand throughout and assured me everything was going fine which really helped calm me down!

I won't lie, the next four hours following the procedure weren't pleasant as my eyes were stinging and i basically couldn't open them as they were streaming so much but its a small inconvience for now having great vision! I found lying in a dark room with my eyes closed helped!

The next day my eyes were fine, a little dry but my drops have helped with that. All in all everything has been great, just waiting for the bruises to clear from the whites of my eyes!

If anyone is thinking of having laser eye surgery then i say go for it!! Its so worth it, i'm only 21 but its made a huge difference already, no more contacts, yipeeee!!!
