After a life time of glasses, struggling with contact lenses (using monovision when I started to get nearsighted) I took the plunge, had my consultation at Milton Keynes on 24 Feb, the earliest appointment I could make was 5 March in Oxford, well, I have always wanted to visit Oxford. Dr Joanne McGraw did my procedure, what a fantastic lady, I was told she was excellent, she certainly exceeded my expectations, explaining what was going to happen and gently guiding me through the procedure, yes, having the flap was a bit uncomfortable, but she said that was the worst part and had prepared me for this, as I have small eyes. The laser treatment was fantastic, I saw a few blue flashes, then out into the waiting room, and my goodness, I COULD SEE AND READ the posters. I am trying to persuade my daughter to have it done. This is my first day and it is great, I can see better now than I have ever done in my life, reading glasses are a must, but at my age that's a given.

Yes I should have had it done ages ago, but the technology has advanced so much, any one reading an unsure, honestly, you will never regret it. I am going back to work tomorrow to show off my 20/20 + vision.
