I am nearly 24 and had LASIK at Glasgow yesterday by Dr Jain. Got out of surgery around 5.10pm and today I am seeing almost perfectly! My eyesight was very bad (-10.75 and -7.5 and astigmatism in one eye) so I was borderline for having the procedure. I really hadn't expected to see this well so soon after surgery. Last night just 4 hours afterwards (after I had had a sleep) I was already seeing very clearly. I am more than pleased with the results already and they say that my sight should get even better tomorrow. I am going to my opticians today to cancel my contact lenses and Direct Debit!! I would definately recommend having the procedure done. It wasn't pleasant having the flap cut but it did not hurt one bit. I was so nervous beforehand but it was not as bad as I thought. Thankyou Optical Express - you have changed my life!
