I visted the Optical Express branch in Peterborough. They charged me £200 straight away, which they said was to ensure booking for the surgery. They arranged to telephone me in a few days to check how I was getting on as we had agreed I shold experiment by wearing just one contact lense. They forgot to call. When I telephoned to complain it was obvious that they had not entered in their records that they should contact me. I asked for the £200 fee to be refunded to me. They said this would take 7-10 days but that they would chase after 7 days. This was 9 days ago and I have heard nothing and the money has not been refunded.
