Had Lasik at 11.15 this morning at the Newcastle clinic, and the results are AWESOME! I can see for miles - so impressed. My prescription was -2.5 left eye and -1.75 right eye.
The experience itself was quite scary and a bit uncomfortable but not painful at all.
It was all a bit impersonal though. Was waiting half and hour before I saw the surgeon for about 2mins before surgery when he checked my eyes. Then I had to wait about 20 more minutes til I was ushered in for treatment.
There just wasn't much interaction or reassurance going on, and it did feel like I was on a production line of some sorts, but I cannot argue with the results at all.
Just hoping the healing goes well!
