I was so apprehensive and nervous and I nearly didn't do it, but it's the best decision I've ever made; 5 days ago I went to Optical Express to have my eyes fixed. The staff were lovely and the procedure went smoothly. 24 hours later I was reading the line after 20/20 in the opticians and my eyes were already healing beautifully. The day before I was (-6) in my left eye and (-5.5) in my right eye.

The worst thing is probably the drops afterwards... and by about day 4 you'll be an expert!

I could recommend it exhaustively, but at the end of the day you know if you want it or not - and it's a priceless gift.
