Well - I finally did it at nearly 60 - and it is the best thing I have ever done in my life
One very small criticism - the surgeon did try to persuade me on my first visit for my surgery to go to Bristol to have the implants (because of my age) and then I would not have to have reading glasses - but it was a lot more expensive and they can only do 1 eye at a time (I had my treatment in Cardiff)
But I am thrilled and wearing reading glasses means nothing to me after wearing glasses all day every day for the last 52 years!!
