I had surgery done on 15th June 2007, and I haven't looked back since.

I had my consultation done in the Motherwell Optical Express shop, and all the staff were helpful, and answered all my questions. Julie and Claire in particular spent a lot of time with me which was really appreciated as I am a bit of a wimp!!

On the day of surgery I was really nervous, but I had a nurse hold my hand and it was over before I knew it.

I waited for about half an hour before getting taken for surgery, but it is a busy place, and can only be expected.

On the way home I felt the drops wear off and my eyes began to water. It is advised to make sure somebody is picking you up. I dont think I would've managed home myself.

At my 1 day post op I was told that I was 20/20 or 6/6!!

It is absolutely fantastic being able to see detail that I have never seen before!

No more speccy jokes for me!!!

Recommended to everybody!! I couldn't fault optical express for anything.

My only regret is that I didnt do it years ago!!!
