I've been reading everyone's comments about how bad their eye sight is pre treatment -1.5! to 5 and how fab it is to have good vision again, however you all seem to me to be classed as mild cases.

My contact lense prescription is -8.5 and -9 and my concern is would I be considered for laser eye correction? also after treatment I may only be actually reduced to you pre treatment vision and still need to pay out for contact lenses and glasses.

Does anyone know of anyone who had serious bad eyesite like myself and had the surgery with some kind of postive outcome ?
