My prescription was -6.5 in both eyes and after 20 years of contact lenses and glasses I decided to take up the scary option of laser correction. My initial doubts were put at ease by the consultant, he not only put me at ease but explained that even though my corneas were quite thin I would still be suitable for the treatment.

I arrived at 9.50am, 10 minutes prior to my operation which started after a further check up. By 10.40 I was sitting in the waiting room following a post op check up and waiting on my taxi to go home.

Once the anaesthetic wore off there was moderate discomfort but by 20.00pm the pain had subsided. The next morning was "brilliant", vision over distance was excellent, 3 days later all aspects short to long, were working fine. I'm now 0.00 in my right eye and 0.25 in my left "WHAT A RESULT !!!"

I would not hesitate in recommending Maxivision to anyone interested......
