I have worn glasses since I was 15 years of age, I am now 59!
Making the decision to have laser surgery was very scary, what if something went wrong and my eye-site became worse or even.....I lost it all together! This is the sort of thing that goes through your mind while you are in the waiting area before your surgery. Let me tell you, the surgeon and all the nurses were brilliant, they talked to me throughout the surgery and it was all over in minutes. No pain, just a little feeling of pressure, and it was all over and I was sat in a waiting area again. I returned the next day for a check up and was told that my vision was 20/20.
I wish I had been able to have this surgery years ago, I feel 100% happier now I don't have to look at the world through my glasses.

If you are thinking of laser surgery all I can say is go for it. It's worth every penny, and not half as scary as you may think.
