Had been intending to get this procedure done for many years but the thought of someone actually cutting a 'flap' on my eye put me off, no to mention the potential pain/discomfort etc.

I eventually plucked up the courage to visit the Optical express clinic in Dundee and have the procedure done. All the staff were really good, especially at making sure you were comfortable before and after the procedure.
The procedure doesn't last long and there is absolutely no pain, a bit of discomfort for a wee minute then that's it, your done.

Eyes were a bit blurry for most of that day.
Went home and had a few hours sleep, each day after that my vision got better and better.
Just remember to use the drops on a regular basis.
