    Wearing varifocals was never a pleasant experience, but always an expensive one. Laser eye treatment is liberating.     From day one the standard of care at LVC was outstanding. I was very anxious on the day of surgery but felt well prepared and had complete confidence in my surgeon Glenn Carp.     Totally a life changing experience of one that I would recommend in a heartbeat. The whole process was smooth and most of all painless!     I was absolutely amazed by the level of customer service that I received. I have never known any level of customer service like this before. Katy was my patient carer and she was fabulous arranging everything from my medical care to even coming to see me on my day of treatment bringing me a coffee and taking me to my taxi.     The staff at LVC were all very helpful and explained the procedure to me very well, so that by the time I had the surgery I wasn't nervous.     I am so happy with every aspect of the treatment I have received from London Vision Clinic, really glad I chose to go there. After 3 years deliberating and comparing surgeons and clinics I definitely made the right choice. I have had blended vision treatment which took about 2 months to adjust to as one eye is adjusted for distance and the other for reading. The first few weeks after treatment were totally pain free but I was very aware of having one blurred eye all the time. Now 4 months down the line I can honestly say that I rarely notice it is only in low light situations that I am ever aware of the difference between eyes.     It's a cliche but this really has changed my life! My only regret is I didn't do it sooner! There was no pain during the procedure or after and my eyesight now is better than when I wore contact lenses!     I had LASIK surgery at the London Vision Clinic less than a week ago and I'm so glad I chose to go there as they totally put my mind at ease. I originally went to Accuvision for a screening but found the appointment really rushed with little time to talk about my personal concerns. Although the LVC was twice the price, I personally felt it was well worth it. They did loads more testing (two appointments of about two hours each) plus an appointment with the surgeon the day before. On the day, they were fantastic.     I had many problems visually which would have excluded me from lasik surgery at other retail outfits i.e, toxoplasnosis, squint, very limited vision (L) eye and +7.50 to ® eye. Prof. Reinstein provided me lasik to both eyes and at the moment my Rx has been reduced to +3.50. This has made a great dead of difference to the cosmetic look of my glasses.     I have worn glasses since I was 13 and tried to tolerate contacts for the last 15 years. I researched various clinics and spoke to friends who had already had surgery before deciding to go with The London Vision Clinic. I could not be happier with the result! From the moment I arrived for surgery all the staff were great, as they should be! The morning after surgery I had a post op appointment with Mr Carp and already my results were 20/16 in one eye and 20/12.5 in the other.     I was very anxious and excited about having laser eye surgery - if it hadn't have been for my mum watching Professor Reinstein on 'Ten Years Younger' I probably wouldn't have had it done! I had been thinking about it for years, but never thought I would have the courage to do it. I am so thankful I did - it has changed my life completely, and for the better. Even waking up in the middle of the night I can see the clock clearly. Brilliant. Just amazing!  More...
