Hi I am considering vision corerction specifically because I am going travelling in a few months and don't want all the hassle of carrying round glasses, contact solutions etc. However, for how long after the sugery do you need to have check ups (if I am out of the UK for a few months). I've been told my prescription is suitable (approx 2.75 shortsight, 225 astigmatism, but the astigmatism is too bad to wear normal soft lenses). Please could you advise how long after surgery I would need check ups? and if ther would be any special precautions travelling abroad a few months after - thank you
