Lasik (Laser Eye Surgery)
Almost 90 per cent of people who undergo laser treatment for myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism will be treated with Lasik (Laser Insitu Keratomileusis). Lasik remains the most popular form of laser vision surgery.

Lasek (Laser Eye Surgery)
Lasek (Laser Epithelial Keratomilieusis) is an ideal combination of the positive features of PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) and Lasik. The treatment is ideal for those patients whose corneas are too thin, steep or flat for Lasik.

Implantable Contact Lenses
AVC is the UK's leading clinic for the non-laser, reversible alternative Implantable Contact Lens (ICL) procedure. Rather than changing the shape of the cornea, Implantable Contact Lenses are permanent miniature contact lenses that are implanted into the eye to enhance its natural focussing ability.

Clear Lens Exchange
AVC is a leader in the Clear Lens Exchange (CLE) field. This is a safe, highly successful alternative to Laser Eye Surgery or Implantable Contact Lenses, and is recommended for patients who have been deemed unsuitable for laser eye surgery.

Cataract Surgery
At AVC, Cataract surgery is a micro-incision procedure that uses foldable lens technology and takes just fifteen minutes. It's pain-free, stitch-free and injection-free.

Piggy-Back Lens Exchange
AVC was among one of the first clinics in the UK to offer the ground-breaking Piggy-Back Lens Exchange treatment. This procedure can help correct complex prescriptions up to +8.00D / - 8.00D CYL astigmatism and very high long or short-sightedness.

Cross-Linking and INTACS
Cross-Linking and INTACS - as well as Implantable Contact Lenses - are procedures that AVC can perform for patients with Keratoconus.
