I had worn glasses since the age of 11, could not tolerate contact lenses, yet found more and more that glasses got in the way of me doing the things I wanted to. As a GP, I was aware of the benefits but also the possible problems associated with surgery, so I thought hard and chose carefully. The Centre for Sight's reputation is good, and my experience was first rate. I had confidence from the start; all the staff (medical, nursing and technical) were trained to the highest standard and put me at ease. The results are, quite simply, marvellous! I can see better than I did with glasses, I can drive at night without seeing haloes, and can do my hobbies unencumbered (although my old specs have been replaced by reading glasses). I can recommend both the procedure and the Centre for Sight.

And please recycle your old specs to charity.
