Update: I had Lasik surgery on 11 June, so just over 6 weeks ago. I reported after 2 days(see further down this web-page).

In that time I have had no pain, no problems, no soreness, no dryness. Just perfect sight. I followed all the after-care rules, in fact wearing the night-time goggles longer than needed.

I travel a lot and it is great to be able to fly without the hassle of glasses or lenses. I have also started swimming which is great, as before it was too much trouble and/or pain.

The best bit is that my biggest sport/hobby is cycling, and now so much better. This weekend (don't laugh) I did a 200km overnight bike ride, with perfect vision, no drops needed, no redness. I could never have done it with lenses, and glasses would have been sweaty and uncomfortable. I eventually was up for 36 hours non-stop and had no problems (or no more than anyone else stupic enough to stay up that long and cycle all night!)

It really has been a fantastic success!
