I had tissue-saving laser eye surgery on 6 June and, 5 months later, I am absolutely delighted with the results.
On the day after surgery, my long-distance vision was fantastic - I could see detail for which I would previously have needed binoculars, never mind glasses! At that stage, my close vision was quite fuzzy and I was getting a 'halo' effect around bright lights but I had been warned to expect this, so I did not panic, and within a few days it started to improve.
Now, 5 months later, I do not get any 'halo-ing' at all, and need reading glasses only for tasks like threading a needle or reading exceptionally small print. My distance vision is still excellent.
I would definitely recommend laser surgery at Centre for Sight for anybody with very short sight.
